Amazon buy 1 get 1 free sale August 2023

Gaming fans on Switch and other platforms can now partake in an August 2023 buy 1, get 1 free sale from Amazon.

The retailer says it has over 500 qualifying items. On the Switch front, some of the highlights include New Pokemon Snap, Mario Tennis Aces, and Miitopia. However, Amazon’s selection often changes, some some additional titles should pop up over time while others will be removed. We’d advise keeping an eye on the sale page in the coming days.

Kemco RPG Selection Vol. 4

Kemco RPG Selection Vol. 4 has been revealed as a package containing another selection of Switch games on a single cartridge. It will include Chronus Arc, Bonds of the Skies, Legend of the Tetrarchs, and Monochrome Order.

Once again, this has only been announced for Japan at present. But we’ll again remind folks that Switch is region free. This will work on any Switch system regardless of where it was purchased.

Quantum: Recharged gameplay

Atari recently brought Quantum: Recharged to Switch, and we have a new round of gameplay. Arcade Mode and missions are shown, along with some other features.

Pokemon designs have been made across nine different generations and with over 1,000 creatures, but it sounds like there’s still plenty of room left in the tank when it comes to new ideas.

As part of a group interview at the 2023 Pokemon World Championships, The Pokemon Company COO Takato Utsunomiya was asked about challenges in coming up with new designs. This doesn’t appear to be an issue as new generations of developers will bring about their own ideas. Utsunomiya also doesn’t believe having a lot of Pokemon is a problem and mentioned: “we probably still have a long way we can keep going.”

Nintendo Furukawa entertainment competition

Nintendo is at an all time high right now. The Switch is one of the company’s best-selling systems ever, The Super Mario Bros. Movie was an incredible success, and it’s still pursuing different opportunities like Super Nintendo World. However, that doesn’t mean Nintendo is resting on its laurels.

Furukawa spoke with NHK and noted that the company needs to continue “putting out things that people truly want”. He pointed to the fact that there are many forms of entertainment, and it’s “a very harsh battle” ensuring that people are still interested in video games.

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood gameplay
