“There is certainly a chance” of Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition coming to Switch, says director
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 99 Comments
Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata stirred up quite a storm this week. When he appeared on a Twitch stream to promote Final Fantasy XV, he strong hinted that the game will be ending up on Switch in some form.
To recap, Tabata teased:
You asked the question, what other things do we have planned in the future? We can’t give you any complete, solid details right at the moment but for our policy writers we very much do want to move out and do as much as we can with the game, with the franchise. There’s another certain console out there people may be thinking of; sounds little bit like you guys, your name, “Twitch”… I think we’ll just leave it there.
Everyone on Final Fantasy XV, they love this specific console that sounds a lot like “Twitch” – you may want to think something about that in the future.

Super NES Classic Edition live on Walmart
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 5 Comments
Update: And she’s gone – lasted much longer than Walmart’s last round of pre-orders at least!
Walmart took pre-orders for the Super NES Classic Edition for an extremely brief period this week. Now, however, it’s available once again. You can pre-order it here.
What we will say is that Walmart seems to have more pre-orders this time. The last round lasted under a minute, so this is a somewhat good sign.
Amazon says SNES Classic Edition pre-orders may miss ship date, orders for multiple units reduced to one
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 19 Comments
Amazon appears to have hit a snag with pre-orders placed for the Super NES Classic Edition. In an email sent to customers, the retailer notes that it “recently learned that we may miss your delivery promise”. Units will still be sent out though, and the retailer is “working hard to ensure you get this item as soon as it is in stock.”
In other news, we’re hearing that Amazon is reducing orders for multiple Super NES Classic units reduced to one. Since no limit was placed originally, some customers placed orders for many systems – even dozens. This should hopefully give consumers another shot at snagging a Super NES Classic Edition at Amazon.
