Europe has a new game confirmed for release on the 3DS eShop next week. Yakari: The Mystery of Four Seasons, which is also coming to retail, is due out on July 2 for €29.99. Based on information posted by various retailers, the game seems to be an action-platformer based on the comic.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! With the latest chart, Fire Emblem If maintains its spot at the top.

In a recent issue of Famitsu, BoyBoy! director Yasuhiro Mukae, executive producer Satoshi Mitsuhara, and design lead Haruka Ito spoke about the 3DS game. There were some very interesting comments shared by the three developers, so we went ahead and translated a good portion of the interview.

Topics include:

– Different visual styles they experimented with
– Why Kirby wasn’t chosen as the main character
– An initial idea to have the obtainable crowns required to beat the game

Update (6/21): Bumped to the top. We now have a pretty good idea as to why there are two different colored Isabelle sprites. It seems like Isabelle’s amiibo card will unlock the one on the left, while the figure unlocks the one on the right.


Nintendo has shown Isabelle running in Super Mario Maker through an amiibo costume, which is pictured on the left. The image on the right, however, shows a different colored costume from the unlock screen. It’s possible – although certainly not confirmed – that we could be seeing costumes in more than one color.

A few days ago, Koei Tecmo released the “Classic Tunic” costume for Hyrule Warriors to celebrate the announcement of the new 3DS version. You’ll find some footage of it below.
