Hyrule Warriors will feature Zelda’s traditional voice acting
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 26 Comments
Hyrule Warriors won’t feature any major voice acting, according to the game’s official Twitter account. Players will instead by presented with the standard types of voices that the Zelda series has been known for.
“Each character’s voice is modeled after the Zelda universe,” a message posted on the game’s Japanese Twitter account states. “It will have that ‘Hey! Listen!’ kind of feeling.”
I imagine that most won’t be surprised by this news. Still, I’m curious: how do you guys feel about the lack of expanded voice acting?

Nintendo customer service says Tomodachi Life demo will be available to all when the game releases
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 1 Comment
Select Club Nintendo members who have reached Platinum Status were recently provided with a Tomodachi Life demo code. Some fans were disappointed to have not received access, though you’ll be pleased to hear that a trial will be made available to all once the game is available.
Here’s what’s planned, as described by a Nintendo customer service representative:
– If you buy Tomodachi Life in North America digitally, you’ll apparently receive the download code for the “Move-In” demo (given to Club Nintendo members) and two codes for the physical version
– Transfer save data from the Move-In demo (and the Panda Suit bonus items) to the full version
– Standard demo will be available for everyone after Tomodachi Life launches
So there you have it! You should have no problem getting your hands on a demo for Tomodachi Life.
Thanks to Jordan W for the tip.

Earlier today, Nintendo announced on its Japanese Twitter account that the company will eventually offer fans an affiliate program on YouTube. Nintendo of America has now followed up with official comments of its own.
A statement from the company reads:
Nintendo has been permitting the use of Nintendo copyrighted material in videos on YouTube under appropriate circumstances. Advertisements may accompany those videos, and in keeping with previous policy that revenue is shared between YouTube and Nintendo. In addition, for those who wish to use the material more proactively, we are preparing an affiliate program in which a portion of the advertising profit is given to the creator. Details about this affiliate program will be announced in the future.
