Hogwarts Legacy reveals voice actors

Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software today revealed some of the well-known voice actors for Hogwarts Legacy, which is highlighted by Simon Pegg, Sebastian Croft, Amelia Gething, Lesley Nicol, Kandace Caine, Sohm Kapila, Luke Youngblood, Asif Ali, and Jason Anthony.

Japan’s top 10 best-selling games of 2022, hardware results

Famitsu revealed new data today that goes over the top ten best-selling games in Japan for 2022. We also have a look at hardware sales for the year.
In terms of software, it was a good year for Switch with the console nearly taking up all ten slots. Pokemon had two releases last year, and are naturally at the top of the list. Despite launching at the end of 2022, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet took the #1 slot with over four million copies sold. Splatoon 3 had a great performance of its own with over 3.5 million units sold. Also worth noting is that Kirby and the Forgotten Land nearly hit one million.
Fire Emblem Engage introduces Goldmary

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have shared another character introduction for Fire Emblem Engage, this time for Goldmary. The news was posted by the series’ Japanese Twitter account and SatsumaFS has provided translations.
Goldmary, a royal soldier of Elusia, is both Hortensia’s retainer and friend. She’s described as reserved and timid, and also loves herself. Goldmary can occasionally say things that can be a bit forward.
Senjyo is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster is bringing Senjyo to Switch this week as a new Arcade Archives game, the company announced today. It will be available on January 12, 2023.
Senjyo originally released in 1983. Tehkan, which later became Tecmo, developed and published the title.

Persona 5 Royal update out now (version 1.02), patch notes

Atlus is now offering a new update for the Switch version of Persona 5 Royal, bringing the RPG up to version 1.02. This is a small patch for the game.
Today’s update addresses two specific issues. Neither heavily impacts gameplay, but they were problems that needed to be addressed.

Bayonetta 3 update out now (version 1.2.0), patch notes

Bayonetta 3 has just received a new version 1.2.0 update, and it’s a pretty notable one.
The game has received a bunch of combat adjustments, changes, and bug fixes. Also worth noting is that a number of Niflheim stage conditions have been adjusted to lower the difficulty.

Last Moon, top-down action RPG, in the works for Switch

Sköll Studio has been tinkering away on Last Moon, and fans will be happy to hear that it will eventually end up on Switch.
The game is a top-down action RPG in which a kingdom falls into chaos after a mage comes back to life and puts a curse on the moon. It’ll be up to you to bring peace back to the world.

Return to Monkey Island getting a physical release on Switch

Limited Run Games is readying a physical release for Return to Monkey Island on Switch, it’s been revealed.
Fans can choose between a standard version and a “CollectARR’s Edition”. The latter includes various goodies like a scrapbook, a golden key, and more.
