Capcom will release a new One Piece collaboration quest for Monster Hunter 4 next week. Players who complete it by defeating a huge Lagombi will receive materials to construct Clima-Tact, the weapon used by Nami in One Piece as well as materials to make Kabuto, Usopp’s weapon. The DLC quest launches on December 23.

Two Mega Man Virtual Console games went on sale yesterday. Mega Man X and Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge were discounted in the US, but the sale doesn’t apply to North America as a whole. Unfortunately, for whatever reason(s), neither Mega Man title has been discounted in Canada.

Nintendo will be carrying out a bit of maintenance on Wii Sports Club tomorrow. Between 6:15 AM PT and 7:00 AM PT, online play, rankings, and other online aspects will be unavailable.

Could this have something to do with tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct? Perhaps Wii Sports Club will be receiving golf!

Namco Bandai has registered a new trademark for “Lost Land Adventure”. The name was filed in the US database for use with video games.

Siliconera speculates that the filing could be One Piece-related. Perhaps this is a sign of One Piece: Unlimited World Red localization?

Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct presentation for both North America, Europe, and Japan. The presentation will be held at 9 AM ET / 6 AM PT.

According to the Big N, Wii U and 3DS titles due out by spring 2014 will be showcased. That likely means we’ll be seeing more of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and more.

Mega Man is celebrating his 26th birthday today. The series’ very first game launched in Japan way back on December 17, 1987 for the Famicom. Mega Man has had a rough going these past few years, but we still love the Blue Bomber!
