We’ve previously posted about Prima’s Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game guide. But did you know the collector’s edition version comes with a framed lithograph? Amazon put up a photo of the lithograph, and it looks pretty neat.
You can currently purchase Prima’s Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Collector’s Edition guide from Amazon, a hardcover release, for just $4 more than the paperback edition. You can check it out right here.

A few grammatical errors spotted in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Random | 5 Comments
Update: Bumped to the front page – two more errors have been found.
Capcom has been known for making some rather strange errors over the years. Perhaps most infamous was the Okami Wii boxart incident, in which the game’s cover sported an IGN logo. We’ve also seen a number of prominent spelling errors like “Resident Evil: Revelaitons” – another boxart situation.
But it doesn’t stop there! Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies has a few errors of its own. At least three have been spotted so far. You can find them all in the gallery above.

Remember: World Soccer Winning Eleven 2014 is essentially PES 2014, but for whatever reason, Konami opted to only release a 3DS game in Japan this year.

[Review] Pokémon X & Y
Posted on 11 years ago by Patrick(@Patricklous) in 3DS, 3DS eShop, Features, Reviews | 3 Comments
System: Nintendo 3DS
Release Date: October 12th, 2013
Developer: Game Freak
Publisher: Nintendo/The Pokémon Company
Author: Patrick
By this point I shouldn’t have to explain what this long-running RPG series is about. The coming of age story of an adventurous kid and their menagerie of bizarre monsters has been constantly repeated over the last fifteen years with a very gradual evolution in the gameplay. While I enjoyed Pokémon Black, White and their sequels, the lack of meaningful mechanical changes that came with staying on one console for too long started to set in and I was hopeful that X & Y would breath new life into some of the staler aspects of the series. Now that the series finally makes the jump to the 3DS, does it manage to revitalise the franchise with new features while still capturing the same je ne sais quoi as the other titles? Well I think it does, at least.

Two and a half days were needed to create the painted mural above, which is a promotion for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. If you’re in Los Angeles and stop by the World 8 Game store, you can see it in person.

Luigi-themed 2DS is a fan-made mod
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
So much for Nintendo releasing that Luigi-themed 2DS. Rose Colored Gaming’s Matthew Wiggins has come forward and confirmed that the device is nothing more than a mod – not an official product.
Wiggins shared photos of the modded 2DS with “quite a few people”, and they somehow made their way to various blogs (including this one!). Wiggins also said he “would have sent them some better pictures” if he anticipated it being picked up as a rumored new 2DS design. He’s “beyond flattered” by the interest his mod has generated, though at the same time, hopes no one is upset that it’s not the real deal.
