During its Ace Attorney 15th anniversary live stream celebration, Capcom debuted a new trailer for The Great Ace Attorney 2. You can view it below.

Update 2 (4/17): Square Enix made the full recording available again. We have it below.

Update: Square Enix has quickly taken down the recording for whatever reason. For now, we’ve added in unofficial uploads of the footage below.

The Japanese Dragon Quest XI Release Date Presentation has wrapped up, and the full recording is now online. The main highlight here is the tons of footage shown of both versions. Unfortunately, there was no specific news about Switch.

The official Dragon Quest XI website has been updated with some new screenshots and pieces of artwork which show some important characters from Delcadar, which is the biggest country on the continent where Dragon Quest XI takes place. The folks at Gematsu have translated the following info:

The Rare Emperor – King of Delcadar

The ruler of Delcadar. He is called “rare” because he has all the qualities of a king – he is generous, but also strict and decisive when the order of the kingdom is disturbed. He is a master swordsman, and knows the hero very well.

The Great General – Greig

The brave general of Delcadar. The best swordsman in the kingdom, he has never been defeated despite having been in countless battles against monsters. He is extremely loyal and willing to sacrifice his life for the king. In a certain town, there is a statue dedicated to Greig’s military prowess.

The Cold-Blooded Strategist – Homer

The extremely skilled strategist of Delcadar. He has achieved great things on the battlefield, such as besting a large army with only a small battalion. His ability to quickly and accurately judge situations and execute the correct strategy has led to countless victories. He is also a powerful magic user.

The latest Nintendo Direct aired this past week. Nintendo originally announced it as a broadcast focusing on Arms and Splatoon 2, but in the end, there was quite a bit more than that.

Nintendo started out with 3DS. We were given a new name for Pikmin (Hey! Pikmin) and a release date, a date for Ever Oasis, news about Monster Hunter Stories, Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters and Miitopia all coming west, followed by three Kirby 3DS titles. Bye-Bye BoxBoy! also launched in North America after the presentation.

Some news about amiibo was also shared. The three rumored Zelda amiibo were confirmed. Nintendo is bringing out the final Smash Bros. amiibo this summer, along with alternate versions for each. Hey! Pikmin and Splatoon 2 are also getting amiibo.

Speaking of Splatoon 2, it was dated for July 21 and the new Salmon Run mode was revealed. Arms, Nintendo’s other big Switch game for the summer, is planned for June 16. The new character Min Min was introduced plus a 2-v-2 option. Third-party highlights include Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition on May 11, plus Namco Museum, Fate/Extella, Monopoly, Sine Mora EX, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, and Payday 2.

The Nintendo Direct also snuck in some hardware news. New Neon Yellow Joy-Con are launching with Arms in addition to a Battery Pack accessory. Finally, the standalone Switch dock is set for May 19.

For a Nintendo Direct that’s just two months off from E3, I personally thought it wasn’t too shabby. A personal highlight for myself is Monster Hunter Stories, which I was praying would be made available in North America and Europe. But what about you guys? Were you impressed or disappointed? What was your favorite announcement? Let us know in the comments below.

Atlus held a lengthy live stream for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology today. During the broadcast, over an hour of footage from the game was shown along with a first look at the new Sub-History. We have looks at both below.

The Snack World details

Posted on 7 years ago by (@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 9 Comments

Level-5 first announced The Snack World back in 2015. During this week’s Nintendo Direct, it was finally given a Japanese release date of July 13. More details about the game are shared on the official website.

The basic gist of The Snack World is to find rare items slumbering deep inside dungeons. The protagonist is the player’s avatar whose looks can be customized.

This game will have an original scenario that’s different from the anime. However, anime characters like Chap, Mayone, and Peperon will also appear.

Update (4/14): The Ho-Oh will be distributed in Japan via a serial code in the August issue of CoroCoro, which is out on July 15. More details will be shared in the future.

Original (4/13): The newest issue of CoroCoro magazine has started to leak, and it has revealed a new distribution coming to Pokemon Sun & Moon. Ho-Oh will be distributed in Japan later this year. Further details aren’t available at this point. It’s possible that this will be tied to the upcoming Pokemon movie in Summer in which Ho-Oh plays a major role, though we don’t know for sure yet.
