Update: Along with today’s news, Bandai Namco confirmed that a download code for Mighty Action X will be included with all copies. This is set in the world of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

Bandai Namco has prepared a new five-minute trailer for its Japanese game All Kamen Rider: Rider Revolution. Give it a look below.

We’ve been wondering when Corpse Party would be releasing in the west ever since the localization announcement in April. XSEED originally targeted a summer launch window in North America, but the season passed by without any news.

The most recent date we heard was October 4 from various retailers. Well, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and GameFly have updated their listings again, and now point to October 25.

The good news? That may be final. For one thing, Corpse Party is now actually listed on the eShop, and carries an October 25 release date. We also heard a couple of weeks ago that the game had appeared on the European eShop with a similar date.

Hopefully XSEED will come forward with an official date soon. Marvelous also has to officially confirm Corpse Party for Europe, as the only “announcement” we have to go by is the eShop listing.

Amazon Japan has posted the boxart for Animal Crossing: New Leaf amiibo+. This is the original game that we know of, but with the free update packed in. See the boxart above.

In November, Nintendo will be releasing a new color scheme for the 2DS across North America. The old look featured a black front with red/blue on the sides. However, in what Nintendo says was an “incident” caused by Luigi, the new look is red/blue on the front and black on the sides. Like other 2DS systems, it’ll cost $80.

Nintendo’s quirky announcement about the color scheme along with the full announcement is attached below.

In Japan, Mario Party: Star Rush can now be pre-loaded from the 3DS eShop. The game takes up 3,001 blocks, or 375 MB.

Nintendo’s UK website also has the file size for the European release. It’s 3,018 blocks / 377 MB. In other words, all versions of the game are pretty much the same size.

Nintendo is preparing a brand new Animal Crossing: New Leaf update for the fall. It’s a significant one, as numerous features will be added. The primary addition is amiibo functionality, as you’ll be able to unlock new content by scanning figures and cards.

Another new feature was revealed on the Japanese Animal Crossing Twitter account tonight. After applying the patch, you’ll be able to take photos with what Nintendo is calling the “amiibo camera”. Unfortunately, that’s all we really know about it currently.
