After announcing that Rhythm Heaven Megamix is due out in October across Europe, Nintendo has shared the game’s official boxart. We have it above.

American Nintendo fans got a nice surprise last night when Rhythm Heaven Megamix was suddenly released on the eShop. European Nintendo fans, however, weren’t so lucky – the game is currently nowhere to be found on the eShop in Europe.

Nintendo of Europe just sent out a press release recapping the past two days at E3, and it also contained a tidbit about Rhythm Heaven Megamix (or Rhythm Paradise Megamix, as it’s called in Europe). The game will be released in Europe on October 21st – however, unlike in North America, the game is also getting a retail release in addition to being released on the eShop.

As we reported, a “Pokemon election” was recently held in Japan where people could vote on their favorite Pokemon – the winner of the election, Greninja, will be given away to those who buy tickets for the newest Pokemon movie, which premieres next month.

As with every election, there are winners and losers, and while Greninja won, Simisear lost. The 5th generation Pokemon received the fewest votes, meaning it placed #720. However, to “commemorate” its loss, Simisear will also be distributed in Japan, specifically at Pokemon Centers and Pokemon Stores from June 25th till July 15th.

Pokémon GO Plus: The Pokémon GO Plus accessory can connect via Bluetooth Low Energy technology with any smartphone that has the Pokémon GO application installed, and provides an easy and convenient way to catch Pokémon and collect items (accessory must be in proximity of smartphone). Once the accessory is synced with a smartphone, Pokémon GO Plus notifies the player about events in the game, such as the appearance of a Pokémon nearby, using an LED display and vibration. Players can catch Pokémon or collect items by pressing the button on the Pokémon GO Plus without looking at their smartphone. Pokémon GO Plus will launch in late July in North America, and is currently available for pre-order at select retailers at a suggested price of $34.99.
