Since its launch in 2017, everyone expected The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be influential in the gaming industry. The title received a rare level of praise and brought a new life to the “open-world” genre.

Batman Arkham Collection could be coming to Switch if a new listing is anything to go by. WTT, a French distributor, has listed the upcoming release.
Batman Arkham Collection could include any combination of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Unfortunately, WTT doesn’t elaborate on any of the details. It’s also unclear when the launch would be happening, though there is a tentative August 31, 2022 date on the site.
Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection launches on Switch in the west next week

An eShop listing has revealed the final release date for Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection. The package will arrive in North America and Europe on February 10, 2022, the store page confirms.
Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection initially came to Japan back in December. We received confirmation that the game would be heading west a little bit before that. However, an actual release date was not provided at the time.

My Nintendo adds Animal Crossing wrapping paper set in Europe

Those in Europe can now get their hands on a new Animal Crossing wrapping paper set from My Nintendo. It was just added to the site a few days ago.
The reward includes three designs and a sticker sheet. Nintendo says that it works well for Valentine’s Day or birthday gifts.

Mario Kart 8 has sold over 50 million copies between Switch and Wii U

The Mario Kart 8 success story continues, as Nintendo’s racer has reached another milestone. Based on the latest sales data the company issued this week, it has now crossed 50 million copies sold.
That number accounts for sales of Mario Kart 8 on both Switch and Wii U. On Switch specifically, the game has sold 43.35 million units – and it’s the best-selling title on the console ahead of Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ 37.62 million. As for Wii U, Mario Kart 8 moved another 8.46 million units. The current total is 51.81 million between both platforms.
