Among Us announced as next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in North America

Among Us will be featured as the next Game Trial for Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo has announced. Subscribers in North America an play the game for free between July 21 and July 27.
Tying in with that, a sale is also planned for Among Us. It’ll be 30 percent off between July 21 and August 1.

Spike Chunsoft has issued the first proper trailer for Danganronpa Decadence. The package features four games that can be purchased together or individually – Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition, and Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp.

Dying Light Platinum Edition coming to Switch

The open world zombie survival game Dying Light will soon be making its first ever appearance on a Nintendo platform. It’s been revealed that Techland will release Dying Light Platinum Edition on the system this October.
You’ll be getting a whole bunch of content here. Aside from the main game, four main DLCs and 17 skin packs are included. There’s also support for HD Rumble, gyro aiming, motion controls, touchscreen, and local/online co-op.

First-person puzzle adventure game Faraday Protocol heading to Switch in August

Today, Deck13 Spotlight and Red Koi Box announced that they’re bringing Faraday Protocol to Switch. The first-person puzzle adventure game is slated for August 12.

Mario Kart Tour will host Mario vs. Peach Tour as its next major event, Nintendo has announced. The company says that the scores in this Team Rally will be based on points, and the losing team will receive a Support Bonus to their points.
Mario Kart Tour is currently hosting its Los Angeles tour. Once that’s wrapped up, the Mario vs. Peach Tour should begin.

Nintendo denies report on Switch OLED profit margin, no current plans for other new models

Last week, Bloomberg claimed that the Switch OLED model is costing Nintendo just $10 more to produce. Now, however, Nintendo is denying that report.
On a brief statement on Twitter, Nintendo said that “the claim is incorrect.” The company also noted that it currently has no plans for any other Switch models.
The full statement reads:
