March 27: Today, Spike Chunsoft revealed No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files for Nintendo Switch [update: also now Switch 2]. It launches on July 25, 2025.

No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files is the third game in the series. This time around, you’ll play as a special agent with an AI partner embedded in his left eye while looking to track down Iris, an internet Idol who has been trapped in a mysterious escape game.

Princess Peach Toad voice actor replaced

Following yesterday’s report, it’s now been made official that Princess Peach and Toad (plus Toadette) voice actor Samantha Kelly has been recast.

Fans were the first to discover the change after examining the credits for Mario Kart World yesterday. Now Kelly herself has confirmed the news. According to a statement shared on social media, she was only informed about the move yesterday.

A new video comparison has come in for Animal Crossing: New Horizons showing how the game has improved on Nintendo Switch 2 compared to the original Switch.

Nintendo released a handful of improvement updates this past week for various games, but Animal Crossing: New Horizons wasn’t one of them. Still, the new system alone is able to run it better thanks to the more powerful hardware.

If you’re looking to see what Street Fighter 6 is all about, you might be interested to know that a demo is available.

This is actually the first very demo for Nintendo Switch 2. As of now that’s the only one available for the system.

Nintendo Switch 2 camera phone

A new test done by YouTube channel Will It Work? reveals that Nintendo Switch 2 owners can use their phone as a camera for the GameChat feature.

GameChat, which is a new feature for the system lets users communicate with friends online. Voice chat is supported, but so is video – as long as you have a compatible USB camera. However, with this new discovery, it turns out that you don’t actually need to go out and buy a separate camera.


Tamagotchi Plaza

March 27: Today, Bandai Namco unveiled Tamagotchi Plaza for Nintendo Switch. The game is due out on August 27, 2025.

Based on the 90’s pocket companions, Tamagotchi Plaza is a shop simulator games. The action is set in Tamahiko Town where players will manage a dozen different shops and engage with over 100 Tamagotchi.

Nintendo Switch 2 20.1.1 update

June 4: Nintendo Switch 2 is starting to roll out in different parts of the world, and the day one update – with version 20.1.1 – is now live. The Nintendo eShop is also available. 

Nintendo previously indicated that the update would be very significant, and that is indeed the case. Various features will be added to your system once installed.

Koei Tecmo has released a launch trailer for Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition. Now on Nintendo Switch 2, it includes all downloadable content except collaboration DLCs, features improved 3D rendering quality, and added mouse support. That’s along with six new scenarios and a large-scale battle mode called “Decisive Battles”.
