Ratalaika Games and ebi-hime have announced that The Language of Love, a visual novel, is reaching Switch this month. A digital launch is set for October 30.

Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth today revealed that Michonne, Rick Grimes, and Daryl Dixon from AMC’s The Walking Dead will be appearing in the fighting game as Epic Crossovers. The event kicks off on October 14.

Capcom talks about bringing RE Engine to Switch for Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise marks the first time that Capcom is making a game for Switch with RE Engine. But based on new comments from the company, it wasn’t an easy thing to accomplish.
Yasunori Ichinose, the director for Monster Hunter Rise, said to Eurogamer that putting RE Engine on Switch “was definitely a new challenge for us.” A big part of the task was balancing the game’s large maps with no loading, graphics quality, and frame rate.

Capcom says Monster Hunter Rise has been in the works for about four years, didn’t look into Monster Hunter World for Switch

In an interview with Eurogamer, Monster Hunter Rise producer Ryozo Tsujimoto spoke more about the game’s development. The project has been a long time coming, as it’s been in the works for “about four years in total.”

Europe’s top 15 downloads on the Switch eShop for September 2020

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for September 2020.
Super Mario 3D All-Stars, perhaps unsurprisingly, came out on top. Other new games appear for the first time as well, including Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Hades, and more.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered briefly goes live on the Mexican eShop, first look at the Switch version

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered was finally made official yesterday. After the announcement, the game immediately went up on the Switch eShop for pre-order. On the Mexican store, however, rather than pre-loading, the full title actually went live. That means a select few are already playing the game now, which is a month ahead of the actual release.
Nintendo already fixed things, but we do have a look at the Switch version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. Footage of both docked and handheld play can be found below.
