R-Next has informed us about Cell Scientists Beyond, an upcoming Switch release. It’s planned for October 30, 2024.

Cell Scientists: Beyond is a sci-fi puzzle game. Players are tasked with helping patients by destroying viruses with futuristics nano ships.

A hypothetical Splatoon 4 would certainly be a Switch 2 title – and at the time of writing, the console still hasn’t been officially announced. Seeing as Splatoon 3’s content cycle has just wrapped up, it might be a little bit too early to start thinking about the game. Still, for many, it was a high point in the series, and after the conclusion of the excellent Grand Festival, it’s only natural to think about what could be next for one of Nintendo’s most popular franchises. Barony Keep Your Secrets update 4.3

A huge “Keep Your Secrets”, or version 4.3.0, is now available for Barony.

The update includes the debut of the Compendium, a mystical encyclopedia that contains every secret lurking in Baron Herx’s dungeon. Also added are new enemies, breakables, and new rooms. Another one of the game’s Kickstarter goals have also been delivered.

Ys X trailer

NIS America and Falcom prepared a launch trailer for the western debut of Ys X: Nordics. The game is finally available overseas following its initial Japanese release.

This year, Microsoft really started to take the initiative to bring more of its Xbox-exclusive games to other platforms – and Switch certainly benefited. While rumors of Hi-Fi Rush didn’t pan out, the console did get Grounded and Pentiment. It sounds like Microsoft will continue this strategy going forward.

In a shareholders letter from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, he reiterated that the company will continue putting its Xbox games on Switch as well as “new platforms.” When Nintendo comes out with Switch 2, it’s likely that Microsoft will jump at the opportunity to support the system.
