Did you purchase the Pokken Tournament Pro Pad controller when the fighter came out on Wii U? If so, you’ll be happy to hear that it will be compatible with Pokken Tournament DX. That news comes straight from the official website, so that’s all the information we need.

North America is joining the rest of the world with the Splatoon 2 Edition Switch Pro Controller. On its Twitter account, Nintendo just confirmed a July 21 release.

A little while ago, Nintendo released a new summer trailer for Switch promoting three games coming to the system this system. Among them was Splatoon 2.

In the video, we’re able to see the Splatoon 2 Switch Pro Controller. The hardware hasn’t been announced for North America yet, but that might be changing soon based on today’s video.

Pokken Tournament made use of amiibo on Wii U, but only in a really small way. Early copies included a Shadow Mewtwo card, allowing players to unlock the character right away.

For Pokken Tournament DX, amiibo compatibility will be back. It’s just unclear if there will be more extensive support for the functionality compared to the Wii U original.

Shortly after Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon were announced, the two games were added to the official Pokemon press site. Oddly, both were listed for both 3DS and Switch for a short time. But soon after it was spotted, the Switch mention was removed.

Just as expected, The Pokemon Company says that the Switch listing was an error. An official statement also reiterates that Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon are exclusive to 3DS.

The note reads:

“We would like to address rumours based on a clerical error on the Pokémon press site; Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon are coming exclusively to Nintendo 3DS family of systems and are not due for release on Nintendo Switch. This listing on the Pokémon press site was made in error and is not indicative of future plans. Please refer to the Pokémon Direct for more game details.”
