National StreetPass Weekend: Yo-kai Watch Edition is currently underway in North America. To celebrate, a new Mii is going out to 3DS owners.

If you have SpotPass enabled, you should be seeing Akihiro Hino’s Mii showing up shortly. Hino is the CEO of Level-5 and the creator of Yo-kai Watch.

Thanks to Jason K and Anthony for the tip.

There are a lot of neat little things in Paper Mario: Color Splash. For example, did you know that you can unlock concept art? That’s one of the game’s features, and some players have already unlocked some of the images, which are rather neat.

Since this falls into spoiler territory with the main villain, we’ve posted the gallery after the break to be safe. You’ve been warned!

Pokemon GO can now be downloaded and played in another six countries. Today, Niantic made the app available in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia.

Yesterday, Pokemon GO added another set of countries. That included Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macau, Macedonia, and Serbia.

This week’s episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta show off the Super Mario Adventures and Zelda: A Link to the Past comics. Fans also have an opportunity to win each via a giveaway. View the full episode below.

The NES Classic Edition isn’t Nintendo’s first crack at emulating past games, though it might be its best attempt yet. GameXplain put together a video that shows how the hardware’s emulation stacks up against the Wii U Virtual Console, and it seems rather clear which one does the better job. View the full video below.

Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure missed its original summer release window, but the game is still coming soon. Very soon, in fact. Mastiff announced today that Gurumin 3D is heading to North America on October 13. Those who purchase it through October 31 will receive the “Gurumin Party Time Theme” at no extra cost.

For those in Europe, there’s no need to worry. Gurumin 3D is still planned for PAL regions, and a date “will be revealed soon.”

The overall reception to the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition has been very positive. However, there has been one concern: the controllers.

The NES Classic Edition does indeed feature wired controllers, and the length seems to be a bit on the stingy side. USGamer heard from Nintendo representatives during a hands-on session that the cord is around three feet in length. That means you probably won’t be able to stray too far away from your television while playing.
