UK Nintendo Zones now only at GAME

Nintendo Zone is a location based serviced which allows the user to access and download content such as trailers, free demos, and screenshots. Now, in the UK, they can only be found in branches of GAME. Nintendo Zone launched in April of 2012 in Europe; establishments such as McDonald’s and 02 were supporting locations.

Disney Magical World 2 is out next week across Europe and in North America. If you live in the UK and are interested in the game, you might want to consider pre-ordering the game from the official Nintendo UK online store here. If you do so, you will receive a free set of in-game Frozen costumes. The code will be sent to you via e-mail on October 14th, the date of the game’s release.

Trailer for the Splatoon “candy kit”

Splatoon has been a huge success, especially in Japan, and with that came the inevitable deluge of all kinds of merchandise – including a Splatoon-themed “candy kit” which allows you to make your own gummy candies in the shape of various Splatoon characters. Unless you live in Japan you won’t be able to eat these delicious (?) Inklinks themselves, so a video will have to do:

Arc System Works has released a trailer for Kunio-kun Nekketsu: Complete Famicom Compilation for 3DS, which, as the name implies, is a compilation of all 11 Kunio-kun games released on the Famicom in Japan. The game has not yet been announced for release outside Japan. Nonetheless, you can check out the official Japanese website here and watch the new trailer below:
Paper Mario: Color Splash gets a cute and funny “outtakes” video

Monster Hunter Generations free DLC for October is now available

Today is the first Friday in October, meaning that Monster Hunter Generations is offering up more free DLC, this time featuring Fire Emblem, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Mega Man, and more. Players will be able to download the content by choosing the Download option from the game’s main menu, and then talking to the appropriate NPCs. More DLC will release on November 4. The list of DLC is very extensive, so it’s behind a break. There are also images of a lot of the items.

Ninja Pizza Girl temporarily removed from NA eShop due to error

Ninja Pizza Girl was released on the North American eShop yesterday, but it has been temporarily taken down due to an issue. The game would apparently fail to download, eventually timing out and giving an error message. Disparity Games has stated that the fix is being worked on in Japan.
