Update: GameStop listing is no longer pre-order, ships in 24 hours.


GameStop is taking orders for the New 3DS Pokemon 20th Anniversary Edition again. You can get yours in here. Given recent restocks at other retailers, this may not last long.

Note: this is currently showing as pre-order, even though the listed release date is February 27. GameStop may be waiting on more stock before shipping.

Big John Games put together a new developer video for Lionel City Builder 3D: Rise of the Rails, which hit the 3DS eShop last month. Take a look at it below.

Bravely Second has made some changes in the west. For example, the Tomahawk class became Hawkeye for the overseas version. Changes extend to at least another aspect of the RPG as well.

One fan has poked through and compared the original Japanese and western versions to see what’s been modified. Models have been updated, which was done to cover up certain parts of the body. A few more of the changes can be seen in the video below.

GameStop is continuing its Nintendo-related pre-order bonuses, this time for Pokken Tournament. If you reserve the game, you’ll receive a double-sided poster pictured above. That’s in addition to the Mewtwo amiibo card which comes with first-print copies at all retailers.

This offer should be valid both in-store and online. Quantities will be extremely limited, however.

Nintendo UK is hosting a “Countdown Clash” for Pokken Tournament. Two of the game’s fighters will be pitted against each other, and fans will be asked which Pokemon they believe will win the battle. After votes are collected on both YouTube and Twitter, the winners of both bouts with then be announced.

You can see the first Countdown Clash video below. The two matches are Pikachu Libre vs. Chandelure and Lucario vs. Gengar.

Activision is using its Skylanders franchise to support the millions of families affected by autism. Through one-of-a-kind toys, Skylanders and Autism Speaks are teaming up to raise awareness for an important cause during April’s Autism Awareness Month.

These toys are blue and white to reflect Autism Speaks’ official colors. The “Power Blue” Skylanders SuperChargers feature Splat and Trigger Happy, along with their SuperCharged vehicles Splatter Splasher and Gold Rusher. The full set appears in-game as their special colors. The toys are actually on store shelves in the United States and Europe now, with Canada to follow on April 1.

Activision is also extending its plans to promote Autism Awareness Month through the following activities:

– Launching employee education and employee-donation matching programs
– In recognition of World Autism Awareness Day, employees will have the opportunity to participate in the Autism Speaks Walk on April 2 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena
– Making donations to non-profits that are making a difference in the autism community

Nintendo has officially confirmed the newest wave of Nintendo Selects for North America. Several Wii U, 3DS, and Wii games will be joining the lineup next month.

Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3, NES Remix Pack, Yoshi’s New Island, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Mario Party: Island Tour, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Super Mario All-Stars will be dropped to $19.99. This starts on March 11.

Nintendo of America’s Scott Moffitt said of today’s news:

“Whether you just picked up a new Wii U or Nintendo 3DS system over the holiday season or want to expand your ever-growing game collection, Nintendo Selects are a great, affordable option. Not only are these games easier than ever to enjoy, but they also represent some of our highest-quality offerings in recent memory.”

Two weeks ago we reported that a Splatoon manga series will be published in Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic, starting with the April 2016 issue (which is actually being released today). Today, a special one-off web-only chapter was published to celebrate the manga’s release. It’s available (in Japanese) here.
