Two months ago Pokémon Shuffle introduced a brand new event called the Pokémon Safari. This special event would grant you random Pokémon with each attempt, granting you access to some Pokémon you may have not previously encountered. Now, the Pokémon Safari returns with all new Pokémon for you to catch.

This new Pokémon Safari event will run from June 22nd to July 6th, and will give you a chance at catching up to five Pokémon: Electrike, Manectric, Darumaka, Darmanitan, and Stantler.

As usual with these new additions to the game, you will have to update your game to gain access to this event. Simply hit the Check In button and you’re good to go!

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! With the latest chart, Fire Emblem If maintains its spot at the top.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between June 4 and June 10.

In a recent issue of Famitsu, BoyBoy! director Yasuhiro Mukae, executive producer Satoshi Mitsuhara, and design lead Haruka Ito spoke about the 3DS game. There were some very interesting comments shared by the three developers, so we went ahead and translated a good portion of the interview.

Topics include:

– Different visual styles they experimented with
– Why Kirby wasn’t chosen as the main character
– An initial idea to have the obtainable crowns required to beat the game
– Development difficulties
– The story

Head past the break for our full translation!

Update (6/21): Bumped to the top. We now have a pretty good idea as to why there are two different colored Isabelle sprites. It seems like Isabelle’s amiibo card will unlock the one on the left, while the figure unlocks the one on the right.

Nintendo has shown Isabelle running in Super Mario Maker through an amiibo costume, which is pictured on the left. The image on the right, however, shows a different colored costume from the unlock screen. It’s possible – although certainly not confirmed – that we could be seeing costumes in more than one color.
