Natsume’s latest “State of the Farm” post shares updates on the company’s upcoming plans.
First, new DLC is on the way to Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley. This will include a new bachelor/bachelorette and more.
Natsume’s upcoming GBA games for the Wii U Virtual Console are also still in the pipeline. The first two will be announced “very soon”, and they should release in early June and early July. Six other GBA VC titles are in the works.
Last but not least, Natsume left a tease for its presence at E3 2015. There’s good things to come for both Wii U and 3DS owners, as news will be shared for both of these platforms.
Head past the break for the full breakdown of what lies ahead for Natsume.
Garfield Kart out on August 11 in North America

Garfield Kart, first revealed for 3DS in early April, is now confirmed for North America. French publisher Anuman Interactive and Koch Media distribution label, Ravenscourt, announced today that the game is slated for August 11 for $29.99. It’ll be published under the label Kids’ Mania.
Below is a brief overview:
…the world’s most famous cat, Garfield, hops in the drivers seat alongside well-known characters from the Garfield Show in Garfield Kart, the funniest racing game on Nintendo 3DS. Supporting up to four players via local multiplayer gameplay, this is the first time you can play with friends right next to you in one of 16 different tracks from Garfield’s world. The game also features single-player racing with four modes – Quick Race, Championship, Time Trial and Daily Challenge.
I’m not too sure how many people care about this one, but the Kids’ Mania label is also bringing out Paddington Bear arrives in London on August 11 as well. The title “tasks players with helping Paddington and the Brown family solve a series of engaging and playful mysteries in order to find explorer Montgomery Hyde.”

Those who had hoped to obtain a copy of the Splatoon Special Edition from UK retailer GAME may be out of luck. In an email sent to customers today, the retailer said that a lorry transporting stock of the Splatoon Special Edition has been stolen.
GAME is unable to fulfill orders due to these recent events. Consumers are being offered standard versions of Splatoon along with with a £10 discount. Alternatively, gamers can cancel their orders.
In a statement provided to MCV, Nintendo said:
“We can confirm that the lorry transporting the Splatoon stock from Nintendo’s European warehouse to GAME UK has been stolen. Included as part of this delivery was GAME’s allocation of the Splatoon + Squid Inkling amiibo and as a result we are unable to honour pre-orders for this item in GAME. We are working with GAME to contact those customers affected. Whilst these unfortunate circumstances were out of Nintendo UK and GAME’s control, we apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment that this has caused.”
Nintendo added that it will be sending out the replacement game via first class post to ensure stock reaches gamers.
