Original (9/14): Prima and The Pokemon Company are preparing a special “Collector’s Vault Edition” for the Pokemon Sun/Moon guide. Amazon provides details about what the package includes.

Fans can expect the following items:

– Special edition hardcover guide with a soft-touch dust jacket featuring exclusive Pokemon artwork
– Collectible Vault Edition box with magnetic clasp to hold your Pokemon treasures
– Exclusive hardcover 240-page journal displaying a debossed pattern and gold foil with a ribbon bookmark and inside pocket – perfect for recording your adventures in the Alola region
– Elegant roller ball pen etched with Pokemon Sun/Moon logos in classic silver color
– High-quality lithograph set of all-new artwork in a protective sleeve
– A thank you card with gold-foil-stamp signatures from members of Game Freak
– Full-sized bookmark with tassel showcasing Pokemon Sun/Moon art
– Removable decals highlighting five newly discovered Pokemon
– Detailed double-sided poster map of the Alola region
– “And more!”

Quantities for the Pokemon Sun/Moon Collector’s Vault are said to be limited. Once it’s sold out, it won’t return.

You can reserve the vault on Amazon US here (save $6.50). Amazon Canada has it up here (save $17). It should be available on December 9.

Disney Magical World 2 is a couple of weeks from gracing the west, so an event was held at Nintendo NY earlier today to celebrate. Hollywood Records recording artist Olivia Holt was in attendance.

National StreetPass Weekend: Yo-kai Watch Edition is currently underway in North America. To celebrate, a new Mii is going out to 3DS owners.

If you have SpotPass enabled, you should be seeing Akihiro Hino’s Mii showing up shortly. Hino is the CEO of Level-5 and the creator of Yo-kai Watch.

Update: Bumped to the top. Keldeo is now live in North America as well.

The latest Mythical Pokemon distribution is now live in Europe. Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire and X/Y players can get their hands on Keldeo.

This latest distribution runs through October 24. It should be going up in North America soon.

We already know that GameStop will be distributing Volcanion in the United States for the Pokemon 3DS games next month. Now, however, we have specific dates.

Volcanion will be available at GameStop between October 10 and October 31. It can be obtained in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.

Nintendo has come out with a new launch-day Yo-kai Watch 2 video explaining how consumers can get their hands on exclusive Jibanyan Yo-kai medals. They’re able to give Jibanyan a powerful, new in-game Soultimate Move when scanned into the game.
