A small Mutant Mudds Easter egg has been discovered in Xeodrifter. One area of the game has a picture of Max shooting at an enemy along with the text, “Max woz here!”. It’s a nice little inclusion from Renegade Kid!

It’s also worth mentioning that there’s another Easter egg in Xeodrifter, according to Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham:

Initial D Perfect Shift Online was a big success for SEGA thanks to over 500,000 downloads. So it shouldn’t come as a major surprise that a follow-up is planned for 3DS.

– Has similar gameplay to the first title
– Customize and tune-up your car for tight-drifting races
– New scenarios and content
– Characters from the series that you’ll get to go head-to-head against
– The new scenario will revolve around a mysterious Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II driver, among other new rivals
– Can purchase cars driven by other characters
– These include Smiley Sakai’s Integra Type R DC2 and Itsuki Takeuchi’s AE85 Levin
– The cars driven by other characters can also be fully customized to a competitive level
– The cards featuring various characters will also be there to provide players with special skills that can be used for races
– Up to 400 cards
– Cards can also be combined as long as they’re the same names, for added skills
