Nintendo.com now letting players publish reviews of Switch games
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Switch eShop, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Nintendo.com has updated, and is now allowing players to review Switch titles. Individual game pages should eventually show ratings out of five stars, and possibly the specific reviews as well. We’re not sure if every page has the functionality currently, but many do.
Take Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for instance. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see a section for the user reviews. If you’ve purchased the game under your Nintendo Account and have played at least two hours, you should be able to review it.

Nintendo says the eShop is “fully compliant with European laws relating to the statutory rights of consumers”
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Switch eShop, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Yesterday, we heard that the Norwegian Consumer Council sent a letter to Nintendo asking for clarification on how to cancel digital pre-orders or create a way to do so as soon as possible. Essentially, the Big N was accused of operating outside of the law.
Nintendo has now provided a statement, and has indicated that it has done no wrongdoing. The full comment reads: “The operation of Nintendo eShop in Europe is fully compliant with European laws relating to the statutory rights of consumers.”
It’s unclear how the Norwegian Consumer Council will proceed. The Council obviously believes that the eShop pre-order policy needs to be addressed, but Nintendo believes that no changes need to be made.

SteamWorld Dig 2 runs at 60 FPS on 3DS even with 3D turned on
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
SteamWorld Dig 2 joins the 3DS eShop next week. If you don’t have a Switch currently, it’s a game you don’t want to miss. It’ll also have one exclusive feature thanks to the implementation of stereoscopic 3D.
Image & Form didn’t make any sacrifices when making SteamWorld Dig 2 for 3DS. You can expect it to run at 60 frames per second, even with 3D enabled.
A ton of you asked… and YES IT'S TRUE: #SWD2 runs at 60fps – with the 3D turned on! – on every version ever made of the #Nintendo3DS! (Which incidentally continues to be @BrjannSigur's gaming platform of choice.) FEBRUARY 22 – SAVE THE DATE! pic.twitter.com/GymI6mYxkL
