Nintendo’s maintenance schedule for next week is starting to be populated. On November 14 / November 15, the Wii U and 3DS Image Share service will be down for about an hour.

The schedule is as follows:

– 6 PM PT (November 14) – 7 PM PT (November 14)
– 9 PM ET (November 14) – 10 PM ET (November 14)
– 2 AM in the UK (November 15) – 3 AM in the UK (November 15)
– 3 AM in Europe (November 15) – 4 AM in Europe (November 15)

A screenshot from Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World found on Amazon Japan last night indicated that players would be able to customize Yoshi. On its European Twitter page, Nintendo confirmed the news. You’ll be able to make your own patterns for Yoshi that appear in-game.

Earlier today, My Nintendo was updated with a number of new rewards on the North American website.

First, the Samus theme that previously came out in Europe and Japan is now live, costing 200 Platinum Points. The following discounts were also added:

– 30% off Super Metroid (New 3DS) – 20 Gold Points
– 30% off Metroid: Zero Mission (Wii U) – 20 Gold Points
– 20% off Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii U) – 400 Platinum Points

It’s also worth mentioning that the Ink Tank Miitomo reward has returned for 100 Platinum Points.

Capcom uploaded a new Megami Meguri trailer today, attached below. The video features Tsukumo traveling around the areas in Japan and introducing items unique to those spots. Check it out below.

Just like previous entries in the series, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Sun each feature their own unique set of creatures. We’ve known about some of the Pokemon that will only be found in each version, but a slightly more extensive list has been compiled by Reddit user VanitaLite.

Since some fans may consider this to be spoiler territory, we’ve posted the information after the break.

Amazon has revealed the Japanese Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World boxart, which we’ve attached above. On top of that, Nintendo will release an amiibo bundle containing Poochy and Pink Yarn Yoshi. The packaging image can be found below.

As shown in the last screenshot, it looks like you’ll be able to customize Yoshi. The actual specifics are a bit unclear for the time being, however.

Capcom is back with the second round of Monster Hunter XX videos focusing on the Brave Style. Find clips for Slash Axe, Lance, Gunlance, Hammer, and Hunting Horn below.

Capcom’s lineup for Jump Festa 2017 is in. The company’s games are highlighted by two Monster Hunter titles for 3DS: Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter XX.

Here’s the full rundown:

  • Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) – Playable, Tournament – Details about the tournament, including rules, how to participate, and exclusive gifts for participating will be announced on November 17. Applications to participate will also open on that date.
  • Monster Hunter XX (3DS) – Playable – The playable demo will let players choose from beginner (Yian Kut-Ku), intermediate (Barioth), and advanced (Balfark) quests.
  • Resident Evil 7: biohazard (PS4, XBO, PC) – Playable

Jump Festa 2017 is taking place on December 17 and December 18 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Capcom’s website for the show is located here.

Two new retail games ended up on 3DS in North America this week. Harvest Moon: Skytree Village and Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers are out now.

For those interested in the digital version, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village is 720 blocks (90 MB). Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is 604 blocks (75.5 MB).


News about which games Target is putting on sale during Black Friday 2016 has started to emerge.

There are a few highlights, such as Super Mario Maker and Pokken Tournament for $35. On top of that New Super Mario Bros. 2, will be sold for $15 while Pokemon X/Y, Kirby: Planet Robobot, and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will be $25 each. eShop cards will also be buy one, get one 10 percent off. It also goes without saying that the special New 3DS systems announced earlier this week will be $100 each.
