Slave Zero X, 2.5D action game set in the world of 1999’s Slave Zero, announced for Switch

Today, publisher Ziggurat Interactive and developer Poppy Works announced Slave Zero X for Switch. This is a 2.5D character action game set in the biopunk world of Slave Zero.
Slave Zero originally came out in 1999. This new title is confirmed to be a prequel and is based on the concept drawings of the previous title. According to Ziggurat, “the original vision for Slave Zero couldn’t come to fruition due to budget and development time”, but the original vision is being brought to life.

Yangyang Mobile has announced that Perfect Gold, its coming-of-age visual novel, is about to drop on Switch. The title is slated for June 16, 2022.
Perfect Gold stars Marion and Audrey, two female mages who escape detention in order to attend a festival. You’ll be going along for the ride as they take a trip around the magical city of Castlecoast, and watch them get a second chance at love and friendship.

Sonic Frontiers will take most players 20-30 hours to complete, double for completionists

With many games, the question often comes up regarding how long they take to beat. We now have information about that for Sonic Frontiers.
According to director Morio Kishimoto, Sonic Frontiers will be longer than previous entries in the series. Most players should expect between 20 and 30 hours to finish the game. For completionists, that amount can double.

The Legend of Bum-Bo finally coming to Switch this month

The Legend of Bum-Bo, which has long been teased for Switch, finally has a release date on the console.
The game was made by Edmund McMillen, the creators behind The Binding of Isaac. Although it initially came to PC in 2019, we’ve been waiting to see what would happen with Switch. A listing for the title has now appeared on the eShop, revealing that Nicalis will be handling publishing on Nintendo’s console.
Digimon Survive release date trailer

Space Seeker is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster has revealed the latest Arcade Archives game for Switch, with the company intending to bring Space Seeker to the console this week. It will be available worldwide on June 16, 2022.
Space Seeker was originally made by Taito in 1981. The title is ultimately a shooter with different types of gameplay segments.
