Eldest Souls Depths of the Forgotten

Many months after its initial launch, Eldest Souls has just gained new content in the form of its Depths of the Forgotten expansion. It’s out now for all players on Switch. Simply install the latest update, version 1.1.23, to access the DLC.

Depths of the Forgotten includes a new and perilous region, three new bosses, a selection of special weapons, and an all-new, obliterating ability. You can find a further breakdown of what’s new below.

Original (5/1): This week’s UK software sales, and we have news about the debut of Nintendo Switch Sports.

The title managed to come out on top, beating out all other games during the past week. However, it had the series’ third biggest launch behind Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resorts. According to GfK data, Nintendo Switch Sports has sold less than half of what those games did during the launch week.

Splatoon 3 all basic weapons

Splatoon 3 will feature all of the basic weapons from previous games in the series, Nintendo has confirmed. That bit of information was published on the game’s official Twitter account just a short while ago.

Over the past few days, Nintendo has been sharing other tidbits as well. For example, fans have been introduced to the Splattershot, Splattershot Jr., .96 Gal, Triple Inkstrike, and Ink Vac. You can read more about these weapons and other information below.

Actraiser Renaissance update 1.1.0

Square Enix has just started distribution of a new 1.1.0 update for Actraiser Renaissance. It includes adjustments, the ability to skip previously completed settlement siege battles after beating the game, and more.

Fight'N Rage update 1.0.6

A new update has gone live for Fight’N Rage, bringing the game to version 1.0.6. Players can now view game statistics, access a secret mode, and see new costumes for enemies. Small performance improvements have also been implemented.

Ziggurat Interactive has provided a small update for the Switch release of Deadly Dozen Reloaded. The game is now set for a Summer 2022 release window, updated from its previously planned Spring release.

Deadly Dozen Reloaded is a reimagining of the 2001 squad-based stealth game, Deadly Dozen. This version will add several new features, including updated enemy AI, adjusted vehicle physics and optional permadeath.

A new update for Fire Emblem Heroes has just been announced, bringing the game to version 6.5.0. This new update, set to release around May 9, will provide changes to the Arena, Summoner Duels, add new weapon skills, weapons to refine and more. It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Bayonetta 3 is still the top Switch game, but Xenoblade Chronicles is now right behind at #3.

nintendo switch online mario kart 8 deluxe icons

Nintendo is ringing in May with a new selection of user icons for Switch Online, with members now having access to various designs based on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Five different waves are planned and the selection changes each week. Currently Nintendo is focusing on the Mushroom Cup. Players will find icons for characters, backgrounds, and frames. Icons cost either 5 or 10 Platinum Points.
