OMORI physical

A physical version of OMORI is in the works for Switch, it’s been revealed. Fangamer will be in charge of distribution for this particular release.

It’s been a long wait for OMORI, as we first heard about it coming to Switch in 2019. Then during an Indie World Showcase at the end of 2021, we received a Spring 2022 release window.

Cat Cafe Manager release date

Cat Cafe Manager has secured a final release date on Switch. Today, Freedom Games and Roost Games confirmed its release for April 14, 2022.

Cat Cafe Manager, a business management sim, was first revealed for Switch last June. We knew it was on track for Q2 2022, but a date beyond that was not revealed.

Little Orpheus delayed

Little Orpheus was originally set to arrive on Switch today, but the title is seeing a delay. Publisher Secret Mode and developer The Chinese Room have chosen to push the game back due to “recent world events”.

République Anniversary Edition

Camouflaj has set a release date for République: Anniversary Edition. It’s due out on March 10, 2022, the studio announced today.

The title was first spotted for Switch last January. A few months later, the news was made official.

FAR Changing Tides trailer

FAR: Changing Tides is here on Switch today, and the game’s release is being celebrated with a new launch trailer. The title comes from Frontier Foundry and Okomotive.

Kombinera

Atari today revealed Kombinera, a new puzzle platformer for Switch that’s being developed by Graphite Lab and Joystick. The title is just on the horizon as it’s already lined up to launch this April.

To celebrate the release of Conan Chop Chop, Funcom and Mighty Kingdom have readied a launch trailer. The game is out on Switch after a number of different delays.

Intelligent Systems has released information for a new update for Fire Emblem Heroes, which will include the ability to replay matches. Here are the full patch notes:

Nintendo has just detailed a few additions to the Nintendo Switch Online app on Switch systems. Specifically, they’ve updated the “Missions and Rewards” section of the app, adding a new set of missions to complete for Platinum points along with new user icon elements that can be purchased with those same points. 

The latter is particularly noteworthy, as the last time new profile icons were made available to users was a system update in November 2020. Along with these new icons being made available, Nintendo is also offering new backgrounds and frames that can be used to expand on the customization of user profiles. These new user elements will be available until April 4, 2022, at which point they’ll likely be switched out for a different set.

Ambition Record is landing on Switch later this week and we have some gameplay for the title. 26 minutes of footage are available.
