Skater XL

IGN has debuted the first footage from the Switch version of Skater XL as part of a new developer interview with Easy Day Studios. Give it a look below.

Following a recent delay, Skater XL will no longer launch on July 28 and the Switch version currently does not have a release date. News on that front is expected soon.

Unto the End

Big Sugar and 2 Ton Studios have debuted a new 8-minute gameplay video for the cinematic platformer Unto the End. Watch it below.

A release window for Unto the End has not yet been confirmed.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus

Today, publisher Kalypso Media and developer Bulwark Studio revealed that Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will release for Switch on July 17.

Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition

It’s been announced that the next update for Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition is going live next week. Version 1.04 is expected on June 16, and will include improvements, fixes, and more.

Nintendo UK has opened a proper website for More Paper Mario: The Origami King, revealing more details and footage for the game. We have content pertaining to the game’s characters, gameplay including weapon equipment, accessories, and more.

Gods & Monsters

After an accidental leak yesterday, some Google Stadia users were able to try out an early build from Ubisoft’s Gods & Monsters. As it turns out, this was a version shown to the press at E3 2019, so it is significantly dated.

Ubisoft has since commented on the leak. Executive producer Marc-Alexis Cote told Kotaku that a lot has changed, including the name of the game. Additional news will follow at the end of summer.

Cote’s full statement reads:

Super Rare Games has announced Graceful Explosion Machine as its latest physical release. The former eShop exclusive, made by Vertex Pop, first debuted digitally in April 2017.

4,000 copies of the physical version will be produced. Each unit includes the game on a cartridge, full color manual, interior artwork, exclusive sticker, as well as three trading cards randomly selected from the five-card set.

Pre-orders open on June 18 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM in the UK / 7 PM in Europe. It’ll be up on Super Rare Games’ website here.
