Fantasy Strike

The fighting game Fantasy Strike is moving away from its normal asking price and is becoming free-to-play. Sirlin Games announced the news today, and also revealed two new characters: Sirus Quince and General Onimaru.

Dead Cells

Dead Cells’ latest update is live on Switch. Update of Plenty includes changes to the weapons and economy, scrolls being removed from ++ and S weapons, smoothed out difficulty progression, and more.

Forever Entertainment has announced that Mini Island Challenge Bundle, a collection of games made by Mackinn7, will soon be reaching Switch. A release is planned for July 23.

Publisher VLG and developer Studio V have announced Dark Renaissance, a game that “blends RPGs, period pieces and graphic novels together to depict the adventures of a Venetian mercenary who must uncover the shocking secrets hidden behind the scientific, artistic and cultural achievements of the 15th century Renaissance.” It will launch sometime in 2021 on Switch.

Bestselling author Matteo Strukul is penning the game’s story. Award-winning composer David Logan is also on board.

Starting today, Switch owners can get their hands on the action-platformer Panzer Paladin. Get a look at some footage below.

Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break

Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break is out on various platforms today, including Switch. View the game’s official launch trailer below.

Crown Trick

The adventure RPG roguelike Crown Trick, which was recently confirmed for Switch, now has a more specific release window. Team17 has picked up the game for publishing and announced today that the launch will take place in Q3 2020.

Splatoon 2

The next Splatoon 2 update is about a month away. Nintendo will be issuing version 5.3.0 on August 18 in North America and August 19 in Europe, the company has announced.

The update is expected to include game balance fixes for weapons that saw a big increase in usage rate from version 5.2.0. We’ll report back with the full patch notes when they’re made available.

Cadence of Hyrule - Character Pack
