Spirit of the North launches in May

Publisher Merge Games and developer Infuse Studio today announced that Spirit of the North, the exploration-puzzle adventure game, will release on Switch on May 7. It will be sold digitally via the eShop, though Signature Edition Games should also be offering a physical version.

Bandai Namco shared the latest trailer for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions. Below, fans can get a look at the German Junior Youth team.
German Junior Youth is led by Schneider. Bandai Namco says that the team is capable at both offense and defense.

Hack and slash deck-building hybrid Book of Demons announced for Switch

Publishers 505 Games and SONKA, in collaboration with developer Thing Trunk, have announced that Book of Demons will be released on Switch. The hack and slash deck-building hybrid launches digitally on April 30.

Super Mega Baseball 3 bumped back to May, “On the Field” reveal video

Metalhead Software originally hoped to launch Super Mega Baseball 3 this month, but warned that industry-wide changes caused by the coronavirus could impact the release date. That ended up happening, as the company announced today that its upcoming title will now launch on May 13.
Alongside the news, Metalhead also shared a new video that explains the on-field experience in Super Mega Baseball 3, including reworked batting AI, tweaked pitching mechanics, improved fielder selection, and more. We’ve included it below along with more information about the game.

The Persistence launches May 21 on Switch, new trailer

Firesprite Games has dated its sci-fi horror experience The Persistence for Switch. It’ll be out digitally on May 21, the developer has confirmed. The physical version “will be as near as possible to the digital release taking into account the effect of COVID 19 on global retail.”
