Thanks to the latest NPD report, we finally know how Fire Emblem: Three Houses performed in the United States. In July, it was the best-selling game across all platforms – and that’s not including digital sales.

NPD says Three Houses has secured the largest launch of a Fire Emblem game in U.S. history. Launch month sales tripled those of the previous best-seller in release month, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Three Houses is already the second best-selling entry in the franchise, and should eventually overtake Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Diablo III Eternal Collection

Blizzard will be kicking off Season 18 in Diablo III next week across all platforms, the company has announced. It will be going live for Switch on August 23 alongside a new patch.

While Season 18 is live, players will benefit from the Power of the Triune, which will periodically summon circles around the battlefield that provide one of three random buffs:

River City Girls will be added to the Switch eShop in just a few weeks. But for the collectors out there, developer WayForward has teamed up with Limited Run Games to offer a physical version.

Pre-orders open through Limited Run Games’ website on August 30. Reservations will be accepted for four weeks.

River City Girls will initially launch on the eShop on September 5.

Bethesda has updated the re-releases of Doom and Doom II on Switch. Once the patch is installed, players will be able to skip the Bethesda.net login. It also removes the disconnect notification during gameplay.

Bethesda isn’t done with updates, as it also says it is “working on a more permanent fix to further reduce the visibility of the optional login.” We’ll let you know when that’s available.

Those who buy the 3D platformer will get the Seal the Deal downloadable content, but it will need to be downloaded separately from the eShop. Local split-screen co-op will also be included, marking the first time this is available on consoles.
