UPDATE: The theme song for the event has been published and is included below.
Cygames has confirmed that a new event is beginning on July 31st that will center around an upcoming new Dragon named Siren.
Uncommonly, no exact event type has been given for the event, so it may simply be a type of side-story event. No end date was given either, but it has been confirmed that this will be part of a two-part event surrounding Siren.

The Switch RPG Oninaki won’t be ready for another month, but Square Enix has actually released a demo for the game. It’s currently out now in Europe and Australia. We assume that it will be extended in North America when the eShop updates tomorrow. The demo takes up 1.4GB of space.
Since Oninaki has an eShop listing, we now know the game’s file size. It’ll be a 2.7GB download on Switch.

Nintendo releases comment on Switch Joy-Con drifting issues
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Since Switch’s launch, many players have complained about issues with the Joy-Con. Over time, the controllers seem to deteriorate (more so with the left one), which results in them sending input to the console without actually being moved. We have experienced this on our end, and aware of the issues you have also encountered. Law firm Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith finally filed a class-action lawsuit last week following the complaints.
The Verge reached out to Nintendo for a comment about the situation. In response, the company stated:

Catan devs explain lack of local multiplayer
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 0 comments
Catan recently made it to Switch, but players have been disappointed with one aspect about the board game. Online play is in, but unfortunately, local multiplayer is missing. Developer Asmodee Digital commented on the situation while speaking with Polygon.
Although local multiplayer was initially planned, “both technical and game design constraints” led it to being scrapped. Asmodee said that being able to see what everyone is working with wouldn’t allow for key Catan strategies. A pass and play option also wasn’t possible since the constant player interaction between turns “deteriorate the user experience and would excessively lengthen game pacing.” Apparently, not many players used the pass and play feature on mobile as well.
