As we found out in the recent Nintendo Direct, Super Mario Maker 2 supports online play. There’s just one major piece of related news that wasn’t shared at the time.
Super Mario Maker 2 only lets you play with random players online. No matter whether you’re interested in co-op or competitive action, the same rule applies. That means you can’t connect with friends online.

Nintendo confirms Super Mario Maker 2 stylus isn’t coming to North America

Within the past few weeks, it was announced that a stylus for Super Mario Maker 2 will be offered in Europe and Japan. In fact, this is even being extended to consumers who pick up the digital version.
Nintendo hasn’t shared any news for North America, and there’s a reason for that. USgamer received confirmation from the company that there aren’t any plans to bring the stylus to North America. Nintendo did not provide an explanation as to why that’s the case.

Nintendo Labo VR Kit now supports Unity

The team behind Unity has announced that its engine is now compatible with the Nintendo Labo VR Kit. Although specific games weren’t tied into today’s news, developers are presented with another option in bringing games to Switch.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey are the two big titles making use of the VR Kit currently. It was also confirmed this week that Spice and Wolf VR will support it.
