Nintendo producer wants more people to play Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers, interest in making an RPG with Dillon

Did you know that Nintendo brought Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers to the 3DS in May? Perhaps not, as it definitely went under the radar. It was eShop-only in North America, and with Switch soaking up the limelight right now, the game’s producer believes that folks may not be aware that it was released.
In an interview with Kotaku, Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe spoke about wanting more people to play Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers. He also spoke about interest in creating another title with Dillon as an RPG.

This week’s issue of Famitsu provides an update on SEGA Ages for Switch. The first two games in the series, announced earlier in the year, are confirmed for an August release.
Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV will be up first. The two games will be priced at 925 yen each.

Octopath Traveler technical analysis

Octopath Traveler is a unique Switch exclusive, especially thanks to its art style. Digital Foundry has taken a closer look at the game from a technical perspective.
First, with regard to resolution, Octopath Traveler runs at a native 720p. In portable mode, it drops to 1024×576. However, UI elements remain at 720p regardless.
