Atooi founder Jools Watsham teased some Switch-related news in a tweet, stating he has information to share Wednesday. With 2D platformer Mutant Mudds Deluxe in the works for the Switch, perhaps we will be getting more news regarding the upcoming title for the console.

The latest issue of License! Global contains a feature about Level-5. Apparently, the magazine has some information about what’s to come for the company.

First, License! Global claims that a new Layton game is planned for late summer 2018. Actual details about the title are not provided.

The magazine goes on to talk about what’s next for Inazuma Eleven – specifically Inazuma Eleven. While it was already pointing in this direction, there’s further talk about the new game coming to Nintendo platforms.

Finally, License! Global indicates that The Snack World will be localized. It sounds like the plan is to bring the IP west starting in 2018 and 2019.

Below are the notable excerpts from the article:

NIS America has prepared a special limited edition for Culdcept Revolt, which is out this week in North America and Europe. You can see the full package unboxed below.

If you’re having issues connecting to the Wii Shop Channel, there’s a reason for that. Nintendo has said that the service is experiencing technical difficulties. It’s unclear when the store’s problems will clear up. We only know that service has been impacted since around 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET last night.

Nintendo announced last week that the Wii Shop Channel will be closing for good in 2019. Perhaps the store has been reloaded in recent days as people try to spend their last points and prepare for the end in advance by redownloading software.

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley finally has a release date on Switch. Announced today, the game arrives on the eShop later this week. Chucklefish will be handling publishing on October 5.

Nintendo quickly followed up on the news by adding a listing for Stardew Valley to the eShop in Europe. Thanks to that, we now know how much space it’ll take up. Stardew Valley requires 880MB on Switch.

We’ve also included a trailer for Stardew Valley below. It seems to be the original launch trailer but with Switch branding. We imagine some of you may have never seen it though, and it’ll get you ready for this week’s release.
