A new NBA Playgrounds trailer has been released that gives us a better look at the actual gameplay. Have a look at the video below.

LEGO City Undercover does feature enhanced loading times compared to the Wii U original. However, the improvements weren’t as significant as many had initially hoped.

You may be able to improve the situation by installing LEGO City Undercover to Switch’s internal memory rather than using the physical cartridge version. We’ve heard that Zelda: Breath of the Wild also loads quicker when playing this way as well, but with Warner Bros. and TT Games’ new release, it appears to make even more of a difference.

Sonic Forces and Sonic Mania are both featured in this week’s Famitsu. It’s the former title that has received more coverage with additional details.

Sonic Forces is a stage clearing-type action game in which Sonic runs around 3D areas. Progressing through fields, with not only Sonic’s own speed but also platforms like springs and dash panels, give a sense of exhilaration. Enemies that obstruct him can be destroyed by using attacks like Homing Attack and Boost effectively.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The full North American Mario Kart 8 Deluxe website is now open for business. You can visit it here.

The site is very similar to its Japanese counterpart. There are tons of videos and information about the characters, tracks, new battle mode, and more.

Update 2: This is something we’re less certain about, but Wolf Link is apparently “fixed” as well. We’re not entirely sure how widespread this was, but Wolf Life was sometimes summoned with full hearts; rather than the default three, even if the Cave of Trials from Twilight Princess was not played.

Update: Bumped to the top. Some reports are surfacing that the infinite arrows glitch has been fixed. In case you’re wondering, it involves the following:

Original: Last night, Nintendo brought out a third update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. All players can download version 1.1.2. Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t elaborate on specifics, only stating that it implements adjustments “to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.”

So what’s included here? Initial impressions indicate that the frame rate hasn’t been improved unlike last time. However, Nintendo may have addressed a glitch with one particular boss.

Switch is receiving some exclusive, free DLC tomorrow. Square Enix will be updating the RPG to add in the Temporal Battle Arena.

Additional information was shared today about the DLC, including how you can actually access it. Square Enix passed along the following overview:

The Temporal Battle Arena introduces a new way to play against friends in thrilling turn-based battles. It will enable players to upload and download parties for battle, allowing them to create their perfect character set-up for battle against random parties of various skill levels, or to battle against a friend’s party data by entering their player ID.

To access the Temporal Battle Arena, Nintendo Switch players will need to have downloaded the latest patch update and have completed the game. They can then revisit the Frozen Lands and gain access to the Arena after encountering “Togi”.

The first official Switch bundle has been outed by Nintendo’s own official store in Russia.

Consumers will be able to choose between two options: one with gray Joy-Con and another with the neon colors (note that these pages may be inaccessible unless you’re located in Russia or use a proxy). Both come with a physical copy as opposed to a pre-installed version.

Nintendo may be announcing this Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle during its Nintendo Direct tonight. It’s unclear if North America will be receiving the package at this time.
