Amazon now selling digital codes for eShop credit
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 7 Comments
Wii U and 3DS eShop cards tend to come in denominations of $10, $20, $35, and $50. However, Amazon now has new digitals options for all of these, plus a few new ones.
You can see all of the eShop cash values on Amazon here. The big ones though are $5, $45, and $70. These are codes rather than cards, meaning you’ll be able to redeem credit right away. Some folks are also speculating that we could see $5, $45, and $70 cards in the future, but that’s obviously not confirmed at the moment.
Thanks to Brandon and Arison for the tip.

Senran Kagura creator on his original inspiration for the series
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 17 Comments
In an interview with Vice, Senran Kagura creator Kenichiro Takaki discussed how he originally came up with the concept for the series. He told the site:
“I wanted to create something that is very easy to understand but very deep and detailed for those who appreciate beautiful female characters. The first Senran Kagura was a very tight-budget project, and I didn’t expect it would sell much. I didn’t even think of the game going outside of Japan, so I decided to do my best to pursue what I wanted to do, and that turned out great as the game became very deep and detailed, and a fan base started to grow. I had the idea of Burst, the sequel to the first one, from the beginning, but at the same time, I didn’t think it would grow to be the series it’s become.”
Senran Kagura began on 3DS, and the sequel also ended up on the system. The franchise has moved around to other platforms since then, so it’ll be interesting to see if it returns to something like Switch in the future.

Test Your Mind hitting the European Wii U eShop on December 15
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Test Your Mind previously released on the North American Wii U eShop last November. In Europe, XenoHorizon is now bringing it out on December 15. The game will cost €1.99.
For those who need a recap, here’s a trailer and overview:
“Trick questions, puzzles, tests of memory, and more! This game full of mini-games will test your ability to think outside the box and use the Wii U™ GamePad to solve various problems. Rules come and go as they please and it’s up to you to decipher the solutions to the problems… and maybe even what it’s asking in the first place! If you manage to pass the test (don’t worry, it’s fair), have a friend or family member try it and you might struggle to hold in your laughter as THEY struggle to figure out what they’re doing! When you’ve figured out all the problems, play a fast-paced memory game in local multiplayer and see who can win a battle of brains. Just don’t hurt your mind—we only want to test it!”
