Fortnite update out now (version 6.01.1)

Epic Games issued the notable 6.01 update for Fortnite yesterday. Following up on that, another small patch has been released.
Fornite’s latest update is version 6.01.1. According to Epic, it contains “fixes for a major crash and general stability.”

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle slated for Switch this month

Slayaway Camp developer Blue Wizard Digital revealed today that its highly-downloaded title Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is planned for Switch. After achieving over eight million downloads on Steam and mobile, it’ll now be hitting Nintendo’s console.

Black Bird launching on October 18th in Japan

Originally, Black Bird, a 2D shoot-em-up from Onion Games, was supposed to launch on Nintendo Switch this Summer. Summer has come and gone without the game releasing, but today Onion Games announced a new, concrete release date for the game, at least in Japan: October 18th. The game will be available digitally for 1,980 Yen.

Paladins update out now (version 1.6) – Dark Tides

The latest Paladins patch is live on Switch, and it’s a notable one. Dredge has been added as the newest Champion, a new Onslaught Map has been added, and players can unlock spooky cosmetics in the Dark Tides event.

With the indie puzzle platformer title Figment releasing digitally for Switch just over three months ago, many fans of the game have been curious as to what developer Bedtime Digital Games might be up to now. Well, thanks to a new interview with JP’s Switchmania, the studio’s creative director and co-founder Jonas Byrresen has offered some insight into how Figment on Switch came to be, the possibility of a physical release, and if future projects might find their way to the hybrid console.
