Switch eShop

Only a handful of Switch games support video capture at the moment. And for older titles, they need to be updated so that players can record footage.

Shovel Knight is one Switch game that will be receiving support for video capture in the future. Yacht Club told one fan on Twitter that it will be added in the next update. We’ll likely be seeing it when King of Cards launches in 2018.

Artax Games released a new trailer for Iro Hero, which is in the works for Switch. Get a look at the video below.

Box Hedge Games created a Kickstarter for the Mega Man-inspired Super Mighty Power Man earlier this month. However, the campaign has been cancelled.

Rather than pulling the plug on the Kickstarter due to concerns about funding, Box Hedge Games said in an update that the team has received interest from “several publishers.” The developer is now “currently discussing with them alternatives on how to secure the development and the release of Super Mighty Power Man.” The game should be funded and released at some point.

2Awesome Studio has set a release date for Dimension Drive. On Switch, the game is slated for December 7.

For those unaware of Dimension Drive, the game is a “unique teleportation supercharged shoot’em up”. We have more information and a trailer below.

Frozenbyte has a special treat in store for Switch owners. As of today, a demo for Nine Parchments is available on the eShop.

The demo supports up to four players in local co-op. Three levels are included: the tutorial at the Astral Academy, a shimmering beach level, and a boss fight against a gigantic Treasure Mantis. In the full game, players will be able to access online co-op and a full suite of features like additional spells and the skill point system.
