Quake

Bethesda, id Software, and Machine Games are bringing Quake to Switch, a listing from the ESRB reveals. This appears to be a re-release of the original game.

QuakeCon will be held today, and the announcement will almost certainly be made during the event. The show’s first session is planned to celebrate the series as a whole. Another session for August 20 will cover the “revitalized edition” of the first-person shooter.

Today, NCSoft unveiled Lineage W, a new massively multiplayer online RPG. The game will launch on Switch later in 2021.

Intragames and IKINAGAMES have announced Galaxy Tales: Story of Rapunzel, an upcoming 2D action platformer. The game is slated for a 2022 release on Switch.

Manekoware has announced Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered, a revamped version of its first-person destructive house cat simulator. The game is heading to Switch on September 15.

Elements

Apogee Entertainment and Wreckit Games have announced Elements, an open-world adventure RPG. The project is currently planned for Q4 2022.

It’s worth noting that Elements’ lead heroine Nyah will be played by Patricia Summersett, the actress behind Princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

The Pokemon Company has sent out an announcement recapping all of the news from today’s Pokemon Presents presentation. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and more were shown.
