Minecraft update out now (version 1.61.21), improves stability issues on Switch

Minecraft received its latest update last week. Version 1.61.20 introduced new features, but players also began to encounter stability issues. The good news is that this seems to have been addressed with another patch that has gone live.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin – Action and combat gameplay overview

Marvelous Japan has updated the website for Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin to detail all the specifics of the action gameplay and combat. There are videos for specific fighting moves that will be integral to the game as well as small explanations for each.
Also included are a few screenshots of the map and UI of the game, giving details on such things as a Day and Night cycle, searching for objectives, and difficulty selection.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons just received its latest update. Version 1.4.2 is now live, and the patch notes are available. We have them in full below.
The last major update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, version 1.4.0, arrived at the end of July. It added new elements like Fireworks Shows and save data backups. You can read more about it here.
As for version 1.4.1, that was a bug fix patch. There’s information about that one here.

Arcade Archives reveals four new upcoming games for Switch

Hamster unveiled the latest games for its Arcade Archives series during a live stream today. Contra, Super Cobra, Super Dodge Ball, and Gradius II (Vulcan Venture) are all on the way. Release dates were not shared, but they should be rolling out in the weeks and months ahead.
Today’s broadcast also reconfirmed other upcoming Arcade Archives titles like Gemini Wing. As has been the case for awhile now, we’ll continue to find out about the next release every Wednesday for release on Thursday (or in some cases Friday).

Regions of Ruin getting a physical release

The side-scrolling RPG Regions of Ruin has only been available on the eShop, but that’s about to change. Limited Run Games has announced that it will be producing a physical version soon.
Pre-orders for Regions of Ruin open on September 1, with a reservation window of four weeks. You’ll be able to pick up a copy through Limited Run Games’ website here.
