Publisher Microids has announced a partnership with Oddworld Inhabitants involving the distribution of three Oddworld titles on Switch.

First up is Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD. While it will be sold digitally on January 23, Microids will sell the game at retail in Q1 2020. A standard edition is planned alongside a limited edition, which will feature “some nice exclusive collectibles”.

In a new developer update from producer Matt Walker, Capcom has announced the possibility of extra content coming to Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition on Switch. Walker reports that the team is very excited to bring the game to the Switch and wanted to show their appreciation by adding “a little something extra” to the game. In addition to the new content tease, Walker picks out several important dates to watch for information. These dates include January 16, January 30, and February 13. Keep an eye out for more Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition information leading up to its February 20, 2020 release. 

NIS America today announced the western release date for the survival game Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories. It’s set for release on April 7, 2020 in North America, Europe, and Oceania.

SEGA released a new update for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD today, bringing the game up to version 1.0.3. Here’s what this update entails:

  • Fixes a timer reset issue in Time Attack mode
  • New confirmation message at certain points

Nintendo has announced a new milestone for Super Mario Maker 2. Since launch, players have uploaded over 10 million courses worldwide.

Today’s news was celebrated by increasing the number of levels players can share online to a maximum of 100.

Here’s a brief video celebrating the milestone:

Super Mario Maker 2

Super Mario Maker 2 originally limited players to uploading up to 32 courses online. Then at the end of July, the cap was increased to 64. It has now been raised once again.

Following a bit of maintenance, Super Mario Maker 2 players can now upload a maximum of 100 courses. This is expected to be the final increase for the game. Nintendo had said in July that it would be raising the limit “one more time”, so that should be it.
