We previously heard that The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was the fastest-selling Switch game in the UK of 2019 to date. The same can now be said for Europe as a whole. Nintendo itself confirmed the news on Twitter today.

Nintendo has not yet shared information about the performance of Zelda: Link’s Awakening in North America. However, we do know that it opened with around 150,000 copies sold in its first week in Japan.

Nintendo delivered a big update for Super Mario Maker 2 last night. Among other things, you can finally play with friends online.

Nintendo won’t be stopping there. The company says it is planning “additional game updates, including new course parts in the future.” Specifics have not yet been announced, but fans can look forward to more content down the road.

Yesterday, Activision and Beenox unveiled three more Grand Prix events for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. First details have now been shared about Spooky Grand Prix, which begins on October 4.

Blacksad: Under the Skin is seeing another delay on Switch. Microids now intends to ship the game on Nintendo’s console at the end of 2019, the company has announced.

Blacksad: Under the Skin was first planned for September 26 before it was delayed to November 5 on all platforms. The latest delay only affects Switch.

You may recall that, not too long ago, Virtuos vice president of games Elijah Freeman said the company was working on “bespoke Switch titles for some of the most beloved IPs in the industry.” In an interview with GamesIndustry, Freeman clarified what was actually meant by this.

Speaking with the site, he said:

The physical release of A Hat in Time will take slightly longer than expected to release on Switch. It was originally set for October 18, but has since been pushed back to November 8. A manufacturing delay resulted in the extra time that was needed to produce units.

Note that the digital version of A Hat in Time is unaffected. It will launch via the eShop as planned on October 18.
