The latest Splatfest has drawn to a close. This weekend, Nintendo held a food-themed event in North America. Players could either be on Team Salsa or Team Guacamole.
Now that the event has concluded, Nintendo has provided the results. Here’s a look at how things panned out:

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet announced for Switch

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet is coming to Switch, Koei Tecmo announced during the Dead or Alive Festival 2018 today. Japan will be getting the game on March 20.
Rather than focusing on fighting, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet is a vacation-themed sports title with mini-games. It previously released on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita back in 2016. For this new release, Misaki from the PC game Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation will be included.

Bandai Namco announces Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX for Switch

Bandai Namco’s Switch support continues with Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX. Announced today, the game is heading to Japan sometime in 2019.
Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX builds on the foundation of the original PlayStation 4 game. Bandai Namco is including new tanks in addition to new characters from Girls und Panzer das Finale: Part 1, including BC Freedom High School’s Rena Andou, Ruka Oshida, and Marie, and the members of Shark Team.
World End Syndrome announced for the west

World End Syndrome is coming west, Arc System Works has announced. A release is planned for Spring 2019.
World End Syndrome has been available in Japan since the end of August. The mystery adventure game was made in collaboration with Toybox.

Dragon Marked for Death delayed to January 31, physical release in the west confirmed, more

Dragon Marked for Death will no longer be releasing on December 31 as originally planned. Instead, Inti Creates announced today that it will launch on January 31.
Dragon Marked for Death fans will be able to purchase the game in the form of two separate packs. A physical release will also be taking place around the same time as the digital version, courtesy of Nighthawk Interactive.

Boxarts and pre-orders open for new THQ Nordic Switch games

THQ Nordic announced this week that it will publish three more games on Switch. Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, The Raven Remastered, and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 are due out in early 2019.
Amazon has already added in listings for all three games, and we have each boxart above. You can pre-order Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy here, The Raven Remastered here, and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 here.
Poke Ball Plus update available

If you’ve picked up the new Poke Ball Plus accessory in conjunction with Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee, you might be interested to know that an update is available. Unfortunately, we’re not quite sure what it entails as not even Nintendo has left a notice on its website.
The one thing we do have is a rundown of how you can actually go about updating the Poke Ball Plus. Simply follow the following steps:

A recent issue of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream had a massive interview with some of the developers behind Mario Tennis Aces. Nintendo producer Toshiharu Izuno as well as Camelot president Hiroyuki Takahashi and Camelot vice president Shugo Takahashi participated in the discussion.
The interview had lots of talk about the game’s mechanics, including the energy system, Zone Shot, and breaking rackets. We also get some interesting insight into the story mode, how certain characters like Chain Chomp were decided, an explanation of the game’s name, and plenty more.

Downwell, The Messenger, Minit physical releases revealed for Switch

Special Reserve Games has revealed an extended partnership with Devolver Digital that will result in three new physical releases. Downwell, The Messenger, and Minit will all be sold physically. Thus far, the latter two have only been available as digital downloads, with the same having been previously announced for Downwell.
No word yet on when the physical versions are launching, but we’ll keep you updated. They’ll be ready to go sometime in 2019.
