The Game Awards 2018 are almost here. The show will be going live at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET / 1:30 AM in the UK / 2:30 AM in Europe. We’ll be getting a pre-show to start, with the main event starting right after.
Although Nintendo itself doesn’t have any nominees for Game of the Year, the company is still represented in various categories. Indies and third-party Switch titles are also present. You can find the full listing of nominees here, and we’ll share all of the winners right after the show ends.

Just like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate makes use of amiibo. However, there’s one figure this time around that has special functionality.
Do you happen to have one of those Timmy & Tommy amiibo lying around from the Animal Crossing series? If so, you can put it to good use in the new Switch game.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose launches in March overseas, new combat trailer

NIS America confirmed the western release date for The Caligula Effect: Overdose today. In North America, the game is on track for March 12. The European release is scheduled for March 15. Finally, Australia and New Zealand will have the RPG on March 22.

We are now mere hours away from the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. To celebrate the occasion, Nintendo UK is holding a special launch day live stream less than three hours from now, at 3PM GMT. They will be joined by representatives from Capcom, Konami, Square Enix, Bandai Namco and SEGA, i.e. developers who have characters represented in Smash. The stream will take place on Nintendo UK’s Twitch page.
