Song of Memories now coming to Switch in Japan around February

The visual novel Song of Memories was originally planned for this year on Switch in Japan. However, Pure Wish has today announced that the title will arrive around February. It will be sold as a digital-only release.
Song of Memories for Switch will have the same content as the PC version. Four additional scenarios will be packed in, including the “Sports Culture Festival,” “His Longest Day,” “The Adagio Tea House is Booming,” and “Utanami Girls Network” scenarios.

Strictly Limited Games will be publishing Wonder Boy creator’s lost game on Switch

Strictly Limited Games recently announced plans to begin supporting Switch. One title we can expect to see in the future is an unannounced game designed by Ryuichi Nishizawa, the creator of the Wonder Boy series.
In its announcement, Strictly Limited said that the game will “please fans and nostalgics of the 90s era.” It has never been published, “and has been classified by video game enthusiasts as lost forever after its release was cancelled.” Strictly Limited Games will be sharing more information soon.

Monolith Soft president wants to see Xenoblade Chronicles X on Switch

A couple of Wii U games released by Nintendo have made the jump to Switch thus far. Early on we’ve seen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Pokken Tournament DX on the new console.
If Monolith Soft president Tesuya Takahashi had his way, another Wii U title would head to Switch. In an interview with 4Gamer, Takahashi expressed interest in having Xenoblade Chronicles X on the system.

KOS-MOS Re: revealed as a rare Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is finally out tomorrow, and it looks like Monolith Soft saved the biggest rare Blade reveal till the end – KOS-MOS Re: from Xenosaga. This likely doesn’t have any real story significance, but it’s a nice nod to the series’ roots nonetheless. KOS-MOS Re: is voiced by Mariko Suzuki, who also voiced her in the Xenosaga games. Similarly, her Blade design was done by Kunihiko Tanaka, who was also the character designer in the Xenosaga games. Below is her summoning sequence:

Attack on Titan 2 details and screenshots on new playable characters

Koei Tecmo has updated the official website for the Attack on Titan 2 video game which gives us with new information and screenshots on some of the new playable characters coming to the game. The information below is courtesy of Gematsu.
■ Characters
Thomas Wagner (voiced by Shigeyuki Susaki) (New Playable Character)
A graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps. His performance as a Cadet was not enough to put him in the top ten of his year. He applied for the Scout Regiment after coming into contact with Eren’s powerful desire to eliminate the Titans. He was attached to the same squad as Eren during the Defense of Trost District.
Mina Carolina (voiced by Chika Anzai) (New Playable Character)

Marlo (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) (New Playable Character)
A new recruit in the Military Police Regiment who has been dispatched to the same Stohess District branch as Annie and Hitch. He plans to someday reform the now-undisciplined and corrupt Regiment into a just organization.
Hitch (voiced by Akeno Watanabe) (New Playable Character)
A new recruit in the Military Police Regiment who has been dispatched to the same Stohess District branch as Annie and Marlo. While she joined the Regiment in hopes of an easy life, she finds herself dissatisfied there, stuck with work forced upon her by her superiors.
Attack on Titan 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in North America and Europe in March 2018. In Japan, it will launch during the same window for PlayStation 4, Switch, PS Vita, and PC via Steam.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update (version 1.1.0), Expansion Pass support items out at launch

When Xenoblade Chronicles 2 launches on Friday, it’ll come with a day-one update. The RPG will have a 1.1.0 patch.
The update involves the following:
– “Event Theater” function added to watch cut-scenes
– Ability to receive content from Expansion Pass added; “Expansion Pass” added to the main menu where you can receive items
– Game balance adjusted
– Various fixes to improve gameplay
