Blasphemous II release date

Original (6/8): Team17 and The Game Kitchen have revealed the final Blasphemous II release date. On Switch and other platforms, the title launches on August 24, 2023.

The news comes from an official store page that shared the date and a new trailer. While that date has now been changed, we should be hearing about it officially during one of the upcoming showcases such as Summer Game Fest later today.

Friday the 13th: The Game delisted

The team behind Friday the 13th: The Game announced today that the game will be delisted at the end of 2023. Since the license is expiring, it’ll be pulled on December 31, 2023. This applies to both the physical and digital versions.

Gun Media promises that Friday the 13th: The Game will “continue to function through at least December 31, 2024.” In other words, those who already own the game can continue playing for another year. Also, the base game is seeing a price reduction to $5 while all DLC will be $1.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

Pokemon Scarlet Violet distribution TM028 and TM086

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are back with another distribution, and there are two TMs up for grabs – specifically TM028 and TM086, or Bulldoze and Rock Slide.

Bulldoze, a Ground-type move, damage the opponent and decreases the target’s speed. Rock Slide dishes out damage as well and has a chance of making the target flinch.

Radirgy 2

Original (9/8): Today, Publisher Beep Japan and developer RS34 announced Radirgy 2, a sequel to the original shoot ’em up. The project is in development for Switch, but a release window hasn’t been shared at this time.

This isn’t the only Radirgy game on Switch. Radirgy Swag first launched in 2019 as a Japanese-only title, with the western version finally following this past January.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak update 16.0.0

The last major Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak update has now been released, bringing the game up to version 16.0.0.

We detailed some of the new content earlier today, but the patch notes go into things even further. We also have information about adjustments and bug fixes.

Dawn of the Monsters Arcade + Character DLC Pack

WayForward and 13AM Games aren’t finished with Dawn of the Monsters, and today announced a new Arcade + Character DLC Pack. The two sides did not provide a release window.

The DLC includes the Arcade Mode with a new power-up system, Meteor Temujin as a playable character, and more. Further details can be found in the following overview:

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus just got a new update on Switch, and version 0.1.3278538 hade been made available.

Unsurprisingly, the game isn’t adding new content. However, a number of key issues have been addressed.

Minecraft Trails & Tales update 1.20.0

The big “Trails & Tales” update for Minecraft has just arrived, bringing the game to version 1.20.0.

There’s a lot that’s new here with camels, various archaeology, the Sniffer mob, and much more. More improvements and fixes are also included.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge Dimension Shellshock DLC

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has just revealed new Dimension Shellshock DLC for the game. It will be available later in 2023.

The DLC features new playable fighters, including the razor-sharp Usagi Yojimbo. It’ll also come with a new game mode and character colors.
