Persona 5 Royal comparison

GameXplain has put together a new video comparison for the new Switch version of Persona 5 Royal, stacking it up against the PS4 release. This comes ahead of the launch on Nintendo’s console in just a few days.

Overall, any changes made to Persona 5 Royal on Switch seem to be minimal. In terms of content, you’re obviously getting the same exact content. Visual changes seem to be minor and appear to come down to saturation. Resolution on Switch also can’t reach the same heights as the PS4 version, though this was largely known to start with.

Grapple Dog physical

Super Rare Games previously brought Grapple Dog to Switch as a digital title, but has now revealed that a physical release is in the cards. 5,000 copies will be available split across three different versions.

The standard version, limited to 3,000 copies, has all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. There’ll also be 750 Steelbook Editions that include the game and a slipcover. Finally, fans can also choose to pick up a collector’s edition (1,250 units will be produced) which contains the original soundtrack CD, a sticker sheet, and a Pablo keyring.

NASCAR Rivals trailer

Motorsport Games has gone live with a launch trailer for NASCAR Rivals. The title, a racing experience, recently landed exclusively on Switch.

The Legend of Heroes Trails to Azure release date story

NIS America today shared a final release date for The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure on Switch in North America and Europe, and we have a story trailer as well.

Those in the states can pick it up on March 14, 2023. The RPG will then follow on March 17, 2023 in Europe and March 24, 2023 in Oceania.

Switch Sports crashes 1.2.1 pulled

Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.1 released this week, but it’s no longer available for download.

Soon after distribution of the patch started, some players encountered an error that causes the game to crash while a match was being loaded. This not only impacted online play, but offline modes as well.

Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed Director's Cut

Today, Acquire revealed that it’s bringing Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut to Switch. A release is planned for April 20, 2023 in Japan.

The game is based on its original appearance in 2013, though new elements have been added this time around. Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut also marks the title’s first appearance on Switch.

New Tales from the Borderlands Anu

Another character trailer has come in for New Tales from the Borderlands, with the latest trailer featuring Anu Dahr. She appears alongside Octavio Wallace Dahr and Fran Miscowicz as the main cast.
