Warner Bros. is gearing up for the new Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy with a new “Magic Awaits” trailer. The video unfortunately doesn’t show gameplay, instead focusing on cinematics and the story.

Original (11/1): Nintendo has just come out with a new overview trailer for Super Mario RPG showing various aspects of the remake. As usual, it’s so far only been published in Japanese, but the English counterpart is likely to follow soon – stay tuned for that.

Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters release date set for January in the west, new trailer

Idea Factory has passed along a final release date for Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters in North America and Europe. In both regions, it’s slated for January 23, 2024.
Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters previously hit Japan this past August. Idea Factory then announced localization plans in September.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just received what should be its last major update with version 3.0.0
The update is highlighted by the final wave of Booster Course Pass tracks for Wave 6. The lineup includes Wii Daisy Circuit, Wii Rainbow Road, Tour Madrid Drive, GCK DK Mountain, Piranha Plant Cove, SNES Bowser Castle 3, Tour Rome Avanti, and 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World. Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii along with Pauline and Peachette from Mario Kart Tour are also here as new characters.

Beacon Pines Switch physical release on the way

Limited Run Games has announced plans for a physical release of Beacon Pines, and it goes beyond just a standard copy.
While you’ll be able to pick up the game itself, a Deluxe Edition will also be available. It includes a number of extras – the official soundtrack, pins, stickers, and coloring sheets.

Chucky joining Dead by Daylight

A big collaboration has been unveiled for Dead by Daylight with Chucky set to enter the game.
Chucky, the infamous killer doll from the cult classic films as well as Universal Content Production’s hit series, will be the game’s newest Killer. This will go live with the Dead by Daylight: Chucky Chapter on November 28, 2023.

Original: Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3 will be hosting a new Splatfest, this time focused around people’s preferred method of greeting.
The choices for greetings are between a handshake, a fist bump, and a hug. Players will be able to weigh in starting from November 18 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET to November 20.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was one of the biggest films of the year, and it provided a boost to Nintendo’s overall business. Details about this were provided as part of the company’s latest financial results.
Nintendo spoke about the movie’s success and how “sell-through of evergreen (Switch) titles related to Super Mario from April through September increased appreciably year-on-year.” The Big N’s mobile apps and merchandise saw an increase as well.
