Valis The Fantasm Soldier Collection English

Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection is seeing release outside of Japan and will be made available in English, Edia has confirmed.

The package of classic titles was announced for Switch this past summer – but only for Japan at the time. Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III will all be included. It comes with a gallery function, rewind feature, the option to save wherever you’d like, and more.

Heaven's Machine

Switch has seen its fair share of digital-only titles, but Super Rare Games is going in the opposite direction with Heaven’s Machine.

Heaven’s Machine is the company’s first original release under its new Super Rare Shorts label line. The fast-paced roguelite, made by ITTA and House of God developer Glass Revolver, will only be offered as a physical release. There are no plans to distribute the title digitally on the eShop.

Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition Switch gameplay

Now that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has launched on Switch, first proper gameplay is now available. A trio of videos have arrived for Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has cheats, but it’s been confirmed that a few have been removed. According to producer Rich Rosado, some were taken out due to “technical reasons”. All of the remasters – Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – now run in Unreal Engine. Unfortunately, there were some compatibility issues with cheats that were removed.

In an interview with USA Today, Rosado stated the following about the removal of certain cheats in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition:

While we are perfectly aware that Citizens Unite! Earth X Space has received a physical release in the past, it has yet to have one in the west.  That changes today, with Limited Run Games announcing via Twitter that they’ll be producing their own physical version for Switch and PS4.

Power Rangers Battle for the Grid Poisandra

Poisandra is joining Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid next week as the game’s next DLC character, nWay has announced. She’ll be going live on November 16.

nWay announced Season 4 for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid back in September. Along with Poisandra from Power Rangers Dino Charge, it also includes Adam Park and Rita Repulsa from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Adam is already available and Rita Repulsa will follow in December.

ININ Games is planning a proper English release of Cotton Rock ‘n’ Roll and will release the game in the west as Cotton Fantasy, the company announced today.

The title was first announced for Switch this past summer. However, this is the first time we’re hearing about any plans for the west.
